This birthday card for him features a highly patterned, intricate, typographic design. The word ‘BIRTHDAY!’ is spelt out in hand-drawn patterned lettering, and each of the 9 characters sit within a hand-drawn box in a 3x3 grid, giving the square greeting card a quirky patchwork style. The background of each square contains hand-drawn dots and circles. This unique birthday card is created using a colour palette of different shades of blue, varying from light pastel blues to deep midnight blues.
