Step Mum Mother’s Day card design
Inspired by folk art, geometric patterns, and the beautiful flora and fauna of the countryside, this Step Mum Mother’s Day card is modern and unique, with a sweet message. The whole design sits on a deep, rich green background colour, with a white dashed line border. Within the border are seven highly decorative, patterned flower illustrations. These are all decorated with hand-drawn dots and lines to give a folk art, geometric feel to the design. Some of the flower illustrations have stems and leaves, others just show the flower heads. The flowers are all coloured in shades of deep red, pink and green, with contrasting white lines to really make them stand out against the green background. In the lower half of the card, the message ‘For My Brilliant Step Mum’ is written in hand-crafted white lettering. The background is covered in hand-drawn green dots to add further depth and pattern, as well as smaller pink flowers and green leaves, and pink, red and white dots scattered across the background of the Mother’s Day card design.
