This illustrated birthday cake card was designed with baking fans, foodies and cake lovers in mind! If your friend is a total whizz in the kitchen, and the pressure of making a birthday cake for her makes you slightly queasy, then this card is perfect. Cake without the baking! This birthday cake card uses a colour scheme of burgundy, light pink, blue and cream. The greeting card design centres around an illustration of a birthday cake with candles. The cake has 4 tiers, and is decorated with hand-illustrated lines and dots to look like cake decoration. The cake illustration has a drip icing topping, and 12 lit candles sit on the top, in colours of yellow, blue and pink. The cake sits on a blue and cream plate, on a tabletop with a light pink checkered tablecloth. Below the cake, the birthday card’s message reads ‘Happy Birthday’ in cream hand-drawn lettering. The cream, beige and pink cake illustration is contrasted by a deep burgundy background, decorated with hand-drawn dots and circles in different shades of pink and cream to add more depth and detail to this illustrated birthday cake card.

Your birthday card will arrive safely, as it is securely packaged in a board-backed envelope secured with paper parcel tape (completely plastic-free packaging around here!). The birthday cake card is supplied with a recycled kraft brown envelope, and these are packaged together in a compostable clear sleeve made from vegetable starch, to ensure the greeting card doesn’t get bent or damaged during travel and arrives with you in perfect condition. Once you have opened the card, the compostable sleeve can be popped on your compost heap at home, or in your food waste caddy, where it will naturally break down. 

Jess A Little Creative cards aim to be as eco-friendly as possible, and Jess constantly tries new ways to make the business even more sustainable. This illustrated birthday cake card is printed on thick, uncoated, FSC certified, recycled card. This gives it a matte, slightly textured, non-shiny feel. The kraft brown envelope supplied with the card is also recycled. All orders are packaged plastic-free, with all packaging 100% recyclable. Jess A Little Creative also partner with Ecologi, which means for every order placed on the website, a tree is planted.
