Butterfly card design
This butterfly card design comprises 9 hand-drawn purple squares laid out in a 3x3 grid, each containing a letter, spelling out ‘BUTTERFLY’. These highly intricate, patterned letters are white and deep purple, to contrast with the background colour. Each square also contains hand-drawn dots and circles to add further pattern to the design. Surrounding the typography, are some bright and vivid illustrations of gorgeous monarch butterflies. Their bright orange and black wings contrast with the subtle white details. There is a large butterfly illustration in the bottom left corner of the butterfly card, slightly overlapping the typography. And there are 3 other butterfly illustrations on the card, all also slightly overlapping the typography to give a 3-dimensional effect. The whole design sits on a cream background, and has a border containing much smaller purple and orange butterfly illustrations, along with hand-drawn dots in shades of purple, orange and black, to compliment the card design.
